During the EVOST-course we open the dialogue on the following themes.
During the first sections, through anthropologic, phylogenesis and ontogenetic study we encounter and get an insight in the Natural laws as they demonstrate in the evolution of Life and human embryology. We learn to see the human as a complex adaptive system.
We discover "The mechanism" of how a complex adaptive system reacts on the stimuli coming from its environment. This awareness helps us to enhance our osteopathic diagnose and treatment.
In the last sections we deepen the insight in the original osteopathic texts and the natural laws of the complex adaptive systems.
The EVOST course is thus a philosophical course whereby in a loose atmosphere ideas and hypothesis’s are presented to the discussion.

Life at the edge of Chaos, tensegrity and the mechanisms. An Evolutionary View on the Advent of Life by Scientific Models and Philosophical Hypothesis’s starting at Big Bang up to the first prokaryote cell.
About Multicellular life, Life as multi-cellular creatures
Review of system, tissue and later organ specialization, Life as multi-cellular creatures. Starting from the prokaryote cell up to mammals and man, their behaviours, society and environment. Mechanisms and algorithms repeating. Emergent behavior and emergent characteristics.
